AESSEAL South Africa gets behind the AES Engineering group campaign to cut packaging and plastics going to landfill and finds it is also exterminating some costs!

Moving to local sourcing was the key to savings for the environment and an improved bottom line at AESSEAL SA.

Having found the perfect local supplier, we were able to cut transport emissions, ensure all cardboard (internal and external) is sourced only from sustainable forestry suppliers, and insist that the packaging used in SA is fully recyclable, in line with AES Engineering group policy.

The packaging retains an outer gloss finish, but one that is now both food grade approved and vegan finish, and fully recyclable.

AES Engineering Managing Director Chris Rea says:

By going this route, we were able to bring down costs, eliminate carbon emissions, source from sustainable forests, and ensure fully recyclable packaging helping our South African operation to contribute to the group drive beyond Net Zero.
