As the UN Climate Change conference (COP26) continues so does the global debate on how to reduce CO2 and other harmful gases in the atmosphere.

AES Engineering Group MD Chris Rea says Sir David Attenborough’s moving speech to delegates in Glasgow underlines the need to press ahead with the Group’s £29 million by 2029 investment pledge to help combat global warming. A large proportion of the investment has been earmarked for carbon-offsetting projects such as solar farms and forestry. But do current standards discourage business investments in trees and tree-planting?
