Improved reliability with reduced water cost

Gland packing was being used to seal lead ore slurry on Warman pumps at two lead mines. The packing was proving to use a large quantity of water (typically of the order of 60l/min), damage the pump shaft, require frequent adjustment and require replacement as often as every month.
